Can someone please tell me how often are the ladder ranks updated ?

if you had scrolled down on the dashboard you'd have seen it ;)
"This page may be up to 10 min out of date", often it is much quicker in my experience.

What I really would like to know is how long does it take for me to get ranked?

I have a rating that would put me on the top 50 perhaps, but it show: Not yet ranked.

Do you know how does it work?

As for as I can see you're ranked on the 1v1 ladder, proably just happened :p
You get ranked after completing 20 games

Actually I was talking about the 2v2 ladder. But it should be the 20 games. Couldn't find that answer anywhere.

Look at your ladder profile...

"This player is in their probational period and will not recieve a rank until they complete twenty games"

2v2 ladder is after 10 games.
