I'm not sure it is cluttered (simply being able to collapse the forum section would alleviate all that).
My complaint is just the sort is screwed up. That is the biggest problem I have with it (and an easy fix). I played a RT game yesterday and it was half way down my game list.
The sort and filters are the biggest functions of the game list. If they are not correct the page is completely useless compared to the old one.

The only thing I miss on the the new Dashboard is the "classic" refresh of open games (even when I can see 15 games now)
Most annoying thing is when you want to find open game that have settings you like. First you need to scroll all the way down to click "+show ... more open games" Ok, this can be done. Then let me check if there's a game I like. Hmm, no such a game.
... [REFRESH] ...
Now what? Now I need to scroll all the way down AGAIN and click "+show ... more open games" because refreshing page hid it for some reason.

After playing on WL with this new dashboard for about a day now I have found that actually the dashboard is quite useful, as long as you have some easy way of showing about as many games as you would otherwise see (with a scroll bar), and that the dashboard doesn't include the promoted games, or has them as a view option for open games [like 'show promoted, lottery, normal or all' in a dropdown thing]
If you really want to merge open and my games and community stuff, you need 3 big panels: a tall left panel which displays my games and another tall panel but on the right and displaying open games, then there would be a community panel as wide as both panels' widths added together at the top, showing news, latest forum topics and maybe notable forum posts, all of which would be arranged left, middle, right. The forum box should be able to be hidden and the open/my games panels should show games in list format and be able to be scrolled down. Player colour squares should be smaller. Each games panel would have a drop down thing for sorting and a button to go to the list's respective old page. The sorting should be based on what I suggested in my massive comment earlier.
P.s stop complaining about resolution, as my/open games can be merged (reducing tab count by 1) and you can zoom out now. I think the main problem with seeing tabs is the grey bar thing, it could be moved to the top bar, to the right of help, and there should be a plus button next to the coins icon to indicate it goes to the coins page. Coins doesn't deserve a top-bar tab by the way. On the topic of getting rid of top-bar tabs, I think you should get rid of the single player one and just make it possible to have just one human when you create a 'multiplayer' game. You should therefore rename 'Multi Player' to 'Play'. I also think the sound drop-downs should always show, and that the level bar should also show like it used to. The format would be as shown below:
[text] indicates a button, the series of equal signs means the level bar, M represents the mail button, the series of underscores next to the username is just there because warlight forums wont let me put more than 2 or 3 consecutive spaces, ◁|| represents the sound button and E represents the coins symbol. The level number, number of coins (and plus symbol) and triangle should all be more button like (have some lighter shade of grey as their backing).

I think that would be taking it a bit too far, I mean it is right next to where the turn progression controls are (e.g. commit), and that is where your mouse will be when your turn finishes anyway.

The most important thing you should solve in next updating it is :
Many people still don't know that they should for every game first read the host rules before joining and accept and respect it ....
I saw many players even in level 50 that they forgot read the rules game ... and some players still don't know the rules where is it !!!! : O .. and some others even don't want to read the rules .....
I'm angry and bored , how many times should i repeat in public chat and remember rules host ?!!
You can solve this problem, by adding a button question with YES or NO with text : " Are you read the personal message from your host ? " It should happen when player clicking on button "join game" and if he accepted then he can join to game . you can use " Yes i read it " and " No not yet " instead yes or no .
Also you can making a smart system that if personal message from host doesn't exist (mean it was empty) then the button question doesn't work .
I hope it happen in next updating...
Best regards.

Just would like to point out to everyone who doesn't really like the stylistic changes of the site.. I have yet to ever witness a site that updated their appearance, and the community like this new appearance. If it truly is more functional to have the dashboard work this way, you will get used to it, and the idea itself is more functional. There's room for improvement, especially allowing it to be customizable and smaller, but the general idea is good.

Lolo is correct, except that it is not more functional. The look is different, we will get used to that. Most of the complaints are about missing filters and bad sorting. Those are less functional. I think if Fizzer tweaked those (they are easy to correct), then about %75 of the complaints would go away and we'd all get used to it. It does have some new things that are nice (I love the boot time shown). Just fix the couple bad things and all will be well.
