there should eb na option to turn the public chat off...
it should be allowed to disable the public chat...
the public chat feature should be anoption...

why would you want to turn public chat off?

1. in regular games there are some quite annoying guys
2. to make a diplomacy with just private messages, thats how diplomacy should work like, not with public chat

1. do not write anything in public chat
2. do not read public chat

a beter option would be no private and team chat, where each player tries to understand each other's moves.

Pulsey that team can just make a game with them to discuss their moves then.

You could just agree beforehand that no one will post in team chat, I often do that to see how well in synch I am with a player when we plan on joining a 2v2 tourny / ladder together.

thats true ironheart, but the same argument can be used against disabling private chat in FFAs.
