Made a poll so you can vote on what I make next. I've got just a little fine-tuning and balancing to do on my Middle East map, and a bit more work on Middle Earth. After that, I'm not sure what to do.

I'm pretty interested in the idea of a Settlers of Catan based map, but open to suggestions. If you'd like to see something not on the list, just let me know :)

Cool maps, I voted. Looks like the votes are currently 100% to one map only until someone else votes.

Do Faerun from 5th edition D&D? :D
I saw a while ago that someone was making the 3rd edition Faerun, but they've been inactive for a while now. It's a shame too, it looked really nice from what he had managed. Or maybe do something no one has done before: Arda.

I'm not familiar with any D&D settings, but I would imagine there would be no shortage of maps, reference materials, and canonical locations to use. Just looking at a map of Faerun looks like it could be a ton of fun to play on.

I may, if I have the time, update my shitty Tamriel map. So please do something else first.

You have a tamriel map? yes here's the piece of shit: https://www.warlight.net/Map?ID=10050

Considering your work with Middle Earth, and the fact we need a better Tamriel, i voted for that. Good luck with whatever passes the vote!

A Tamriel map including the other mythical continents around it (such as the skeleton continent mentioned at sometime) would be nice.

Hehe, great attitude about it :D Looks great to me.

Weird thing about Elder Scrolls, I loved Daggerfall, even with all its horrible and sometimes save-file ruining bugs... but I never could get into any of the later games.

Maybe a map just for Daggerfall. One of the largest game-worlds ever created, amazing for being done in 1996.

Its not bad its just ugly and id rather redo it.

Daggerfall would be interesting, so would the oblivion map. Panau? in Just cause 2 is good but you would have trouble with the names, it would take ages to note them down etc. You would probably need the game.

Ooh, I never knew they made Daggerfall free, happened in 2009. I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the day. Any game that lets you fly if you can swing a sword back and forth fast enough is timeless :D

I think that Test Drive's map would be larger... but that wouldn't be fun as a warlight game.
*edit* reads text.... Might need the Herp Derp about now...

Bethesda claims that the scale of the game is the size of Great Britain:[2] around 229,848 square kilometers/ 88,745 sq miles, though the actual size of the map is 161,600 square kilometers, or 62,394 square miles. The game world features over 15,000 towns, cities, villages, and dungeons for the player's character to explore. According to Todd Howard, game director and executive producer for Bethesda, the game's sequel, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, is 0.01% the size of Daggerfall, but most of Daggerfall 's terrain was randomly generated. The explorable part of Morrowind, Vvardenfell, is 9.3 square miles, or 24 square kilometers.[3][4] By comparison,The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is approximately 22 square miles, or 56.97 square kilometers,[5] and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is 14.3 square miles, or 37.1 square kilometers, with a quarter of this terrain as unplayable, as it is stuck behind invisible borders.[6]

That's the only problem with Daggerfall and other large maps: To make them properly would break the internet.
