I know there isn't a strategy that's suitable for all situations possible but I just want to know strategies that can help beginners when starting Warlight and maybe a way to make your own strategies.

pick small bonusses,
pick enough spots which is the number of starters times the number of players,
do not pick wastelanded bonusses,
do not pick one region, but try to cover many regions of the map instead,
don't try to finish all at once. Finish bonusses one after another,
expand,
when facing enemy the first time, try not to attack if not necessary.
