That map is awesome, by the way. I happen to just be in the process of failing to make a hex map just because I thought there should be one.

V1 and X2 are not connected. I wasn't able to take the whole board, but after I noticed that one I was on the lookout for others.

I'm going to keep posting things as I find them until I'm told to stop.

Gerona Realm also encompasses Hordon Realm when you click the bonus square but the other way around. I took the liberty of capturing just Gerona and did not recieve the 7 armies I should have.


The following don't connect:

L19 - K20
J17 - K18
J27 - P29
J27 - B25
J27 - K26
P31 - O32
Q26 - R37
U30 - T29
U30 - U32
K30 - L31
H37 - H39
N31 - O30
E26 - F25
E26 - D25
E28 - F29
C30 - D31

Jacek - the map is great, I also thought about making hexagonal map but found it too difficult and time consuming...
Maybe you can tell how did you make it? Did you just copied one hexagon or maybe know some faster way?

Some more missed connections:

F13-F11
G36-G38
M30-M32
S6-S8

And connection Q26-R37 named in CuChluchain's post should be Q36-R37.

I checked every cell, so it's a final list. I'll be very grateful if anyone repaits that connections.

Word about bonuses:
I find "-2 swamps" really great idea.
However bonuses that have swamps as their part give as many armies as they "should"

Example (south of Royal Island)
Gerona Realm - 7 territories, 7 bonus
Sarmatia Realm - 8 territories, 8 -2 = 6 bonus

I believe, that bonuses that have swamp as their part should get higher values

Ok, I saw that designer put up 1.1 version, where bonuses with swamps have significantly higher values.

I checked connections wrote above and their ok, while those doesn't connect:

L19 - K18
Q26 - Q28
F13 - F15

I must say I didn't check whole map though.

Thank you all, especially CuChulainn !
To be honest I didn't know about this forum till yesterday.

I have created new map(v2.1) with some new features which should be visible in few days. I have tried to check all connections/errors but propably some remained (I hope not). If you have found any issues write it here.

@RadixLecti, I have created one hexagon and copied it to make bigger cluster then coppied this to make bigger and so on...then I had all map with hexagons and just deleted those which I didn't want to make land shapes. Unfortunately nameing territories and making connections is realy tougth cause you have to make it all manually...good luck!

Unfortunately some bugs have been spotted which will be corrected soon (in 1.5v). Now L15 and K18 have +4 and +4 instead of +4 and -4 which makes game a bit unbalanced.

The new map looks awesome. Someone I was playing with said that it looked confusing, which is probably true if you haven't played this map before, but I like the new changes.

I haven't had a chance to checked ALL the hexes yet but I DID notice that A38 and C40 don't have all their connections.

There is only one mistake which I saw, Port7 bonus must be located in A24 while it is located in A22.

Also I like an idea of fortification and lost connections on them, but the borders between disconnected hexes (A36-A38 for example) should be more wide as they are a bit confusing while playing.

@CuChulainn, yes they don't have all conections cause the only way to get to stronghold is througth fortifications. So this is not a bug. Glad to hear that you like new map!

@Salvor, Thanks for your feedback. I will correct this port bonus and it should be visible in new map version soon.

I will try to make this more visible when uploading new template (when I will have some free time)

Few other things I noticed about this map
1)Ports A24 and E24 should be included in "Southern Ports" bonus as this bonus has 6 territories while "Northern Ports" has 8 (and these both ports aren't placed in both of them).
2)"Jungle tribes" bonus(southwestern Darklands) is a bit overrated(6 terras 5bonus). Maybe it was intended, but I'm not sure about this one

Corrected and should be visible in new version.

1. Jungle tribes reduced to 3 (6/2=3)
2. Southern ports reduced to 3 (aprox 5/2=2,5)

I've changed also some bonuses on the south (blacksmits and minners land)

Just thought I would add to the praise of this map. It must have taken an amazing amount of work, but the results are great! Also, I appreciate the changes you have made. Adds spice and challenge.
