When will Group B tournaments start? We have been waiting for a long time now. We have confirmed our lineup (we did so weeks ago) and since then we have heard nothing at all. We want to play!

Now jsa is on Holiday, and for what i kno, Aranka is doing B/C Group.

I'm in charge of group C but so far we've only got a line-up for like 2 clans max from there

JSA is back. I would expect an update sometime soon.

I am thinking we will combine B and C Leagues. Aranka has had little to no response with the C League teams, and there are 1-2 teams in B League that might not participate. The tournaments will be made today or tommorrow and I'll give the clans a week to join, we need to get this moving along.

if a 3v3 win is worth 4 points (133% more than the number of players), next time there should be a 10v10 worth 13 points/win. then all the other games will be meaningless and whichever team wins the most 10vs10 has the best clan. sound good? great! that's what we will do next season!

nevermind, i just read through this thread. it all makes sense now. there was some sort of vote to not allow relite/gg to play in the group/league we all know they belong in. instead warlighters took their spot...(let's pause for a moment and reflect on this...ok.) then, midway through the tournament, wm was losing and gnuff asked jsa to change the points of the only games wm was doing well in so wm could have a chance to win. (recap: vote to exclude relite, no vote to change the points system after the tournament started and after everyone already had started to base their calculations on the points system in place. fair enough.) and relite is supposed to join group a shortly, yet their tournaments were deliberately postponed.

Qi, if you are gonna sum up a thread, you need to read through it much better than that. A few Relite players came in and said they were fine with being in C, I think that kinda settled it. They will now be in B anyways.

I went back to the previous points because that's what we had last season and I felt like I had made a mistake changing it in the beginning.

How was Relite's tournament deliberately postponed? You are saying Aranka deliberately postponed Relite's tournament?

Qi - I will speak from the perspective of my very self:

i voted for Relite being in A. I always felt they were (at first potentially, then practically) one of the very top clans skill-wise. I have expressed that opinion many times all over the forums. But there are many series like this and most of the people here said their ok for ReLite in A <but>...blablabla.. exception... blablabla...

I don't know for sure the reason why Gnu suggested the aforementioned score change, but I can agree with you on that this is the most likely scenario (most of the time he cannot stand being anywhere else than the top - which is not a con feature for one of the most competitive players this site has ever seen) and during that time we were doing badly in 1v1s, while we were just starting teamgames, so we had some time to work on those... I'm not sure though this would make much difference as this series from the very beginning was scored in a very similar way. 4pts for 3v3 vs 3 points for 3v3.. just take a look at the score difference between WM and the rest..

The idea behind the scores for this series from the very beginning was to balance chances between 1v1-oriented and teamplay-oriented and allround clans and not to favour any. I do however agree that every game should count as 1 point. BUT ONLY IF there was an equal number of 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 games and rotating teams i guess.. which would in addition to what we have, give the better idea of an AVERAGE level of a clanmember. but this is not the case.. :/ I also don't understand why this even is counted points for wins minus points for losses system - but it's simply because i have not seen a similar system anywhere. For me it's obvious that NOT GETTING points for a win is enough handicap. So why making the handicap twice as big...

Oh yes. and i forgot.. Nobody deliberately postponed anything. It's just that the potentially interested clans did not turn out to be interested at all. and those who were were not organized enough to combine B and C into one group which i feel is the only way to go.. Furthermore - since a few weeks, Aranka is in charge of organising their group so it's totally up to them wht will they do..

i say a lot of times, relite have to play in A.
for point:
there are 4 RR of 1v1. Worth 1 point. total point? = 24
there are 2 RR of 2v2. Worth 2 points. total point? = 24 again.
there is 1 RR only of 3v3. 2 scenario:
Worth 3 points. total point? = 18. Why 3v3 should give LESS point then other game????
is not fair. Also in last clan League we used 4 point.
Worth 4 points. total point 24 points, like 1v1s and 2v2s.
If you don't want give 4 points for 2v2, make 2 RR...and give only 2 points. but total points MUST be equal imho.

Initially this tournament started weeks before anyone else in group B or C was even NOTIFIED by JSA that it had already started.
Reasoning behind that was that JSA had found it too hard to get any contact from clans in these respective alliances - an argument I found weird for no one had even contacted any of the Relite members and we already had our line-up ready since the announcement of the tourney.

THEN and only then did I volunteer for group C.
While there were supposed to be 8 clans in that group, hardly any of them responded.
There's no point starting a competition if we're the only clan participating so we had to wait for responses from respective alliances.

The {rp} lineup will be ready on the 13th when Hammer comes back from vacation. Also hoping to get a team together from Master clan by then. So there are 2 more clans

Aranka, If you expect me to contact 15 clans on every detail of the clan league, your wasting your time. I had made games with each clan in B and C League and was getting lineups from them, I just didn't have the time to sit there and pester them about lineups. After a copule weeks with little to no responses, that is where I asked other people to help with those leagues, in the hope that they would have more time for it.

Good to hear Miyagi. That puts the number of clans in Group B to 8 clans I think. I've made the tournaments already and invited 4 clans, I still have to invite 2 more that I have lineups for. One more clan can join, but 10 is the limit in Group B. [MC] is also getting a team together according to Alex.

A simple notification of "It's starting" would be nice.

I followed the forum and in there they did not ask for the line-up or the start of the tournament as such

What really happened was that we were still discussing the placement of various clans (after Relite agreed to go to C) and then nothing
3 weeks later a new thread opens announcing the first results of group A

Furthermore, we're an active clan - yet none of us recall you making these group games - so did you really do that ?

I invited your 3 leaders, Ottarin, Yoda, and Jupiter. So yeah, i really did that.

it's already over so no point in squabbling about it now. Why not just focus on the next league Relite will almost surely move up after this clan league anyways

Agreed. Why cry over spilt milk? The tournaments have been made, so channel you energy into predictions, support and real inquiries into the tournament.
