I checked previous seasons and only one time 3000 was broken. Actually 22 players have 3000+ ranking and propably on the end season rankings incrase more. Why season IX has much more rankings then previouses?

I think it is probably due to

"For future seasons, this penalty is being increased from 40 to 65."

Penalty decreases player`s ranking, so more penalty decided about low all rankings. I think only more number of players may affect to increase rankinks, but number of players is equal like previosu seasons

do you realize how stupid you just made yourself sound? if you actually spent 5 minutes to read the blog post, instead of pretending you did, you realize that every game you joined you received 40 points, which is why the ratings got to almost 3000, not that its 65 ADDED TO YOUR RATING per game, the ratings are way higher, next time read before you make yourself look like an idiot

I believe the amount of games played is more important than accually wins against good players.
