I'm turning 14, and I'm emotionally maturing. I've looked at the posts and realized it might have not been a good idea to talk about potentially sensitive topics, for that may have hurt some of you that see these messages. To every person to which I may have offended, annoyed, or otherwise hurt in the forums, I am sorry.
I'm trying to change myself for the better so that people like you aren't offended by what I say. I really just wanted to make friends and have fun, not turning people away and making them think that I'm just another troll that shouldn't be trusted.

It is very much a sign of maturity to reflect on one-self's actions and work to better them.
One of the things you will find as you grow up is that there is a difference between purposefully offending someone in the spirit of mean-ness and someone taking offense to you sharing your opinion about a potentially sensitive subject.
Apologize for the former, or better yet, take steps to avoid it in the first place. Humanity's potential for mean spirited abuse of one another is truly unfortunate.
However, that being said, share your opinions openly and without reservation no matter how potentially sensitive the subject may be.
We live in a very sensitive time that celebrates victim-hood and glorifies censorship. A time where we are being taught that life is simple, void of complexity, and that there is one side who is in possession of the only truth. A time where we are being taught that it is right and reasonable to silence and discredit anyone who disagrees with the narrative.
It is a dangerous time of righteous hypocrisy.
You've never struck me as a mean spirited person or someone who would purposefully hurt others. If that is a correct assessment, then keep up the good work.
Just don't be afraid to talk about the sensitive stuff. Don't be afraid to share your truth or opinion just because others may find a way to take offense to it. Learn that early. It may make life more difficult for you, but you will be true to yourself.

It's impossible to live your live without offending anyone.
