I've just got the message that this mod is now public and everyone can use it now (with membership ofc).
The mod allows you to configure which cards the AI can play and which not. This can be used for every type of game.
- Creating a diplo? configure the sanction and diplomacy to non-playable to prevent the AI's from booted and surrended players from ruining it!
- Is the game using negavite sanctions? prevent the AI's from playing them cos they don't see it will boost the target!
- Does your game use an AI as some sort of zombie horde or common enemy and don't want it to play cards? Use the mod!
- Want players to return after a boot or surrender? Don't discourage them with the fact that their AI played all their cards!
AI's are not that smart. They will blockade territories when they don't need to, don't know any mods and their mechanics and likes to play all sanction, diplomacy and bomb cards it has. In my personal experience with diplo or FFA type games is that booted and surrendered players tend to ruin the game. The AI suddenly takes over, doesn't know about any truces, pacts or alliances and plays really aggressive. Besides the fact that it attacks the neighbours (which is preventable using a diplomacy mod) the AI will likely play all his sanction, bomb and diplomacy cards it has. Thus if the player returns to the game, it might be discouraged to join back when they see all their cards they have carefully saved up are gone.
