Pushover: like Summer said, it doesn't automatically pair players, it just lets you play with whoever else is currently also online wanting to play.

Ahh, sort of how the old Yahoo Games ladders worked? Those were easily gamed though, it was impossible to move up the ladder because all the good players refused to play anyone that could make their rating go down. It was less about skill and more about who you played, and it was impossible to crack into the highly rated player clique.

How do you plan to combat this? Penalize players who refuse matchups? Some other method?

seahawks: i guess the guy with 8 losses were against players with high rating.

Pushover: maybe i'll implement user authentication and only allow people to play others in similar rank, or give them a rating boost if they chose to play this way instead of open seats. i'm against making it completely forced pairing, the ladder would lose it's visibility on the open games, which i think is important to bring in users awareness.

rankings: what ps has done is all that can be done. think of it as a ladder for friendly matches that are kept track of.

finished matches: any way to have these arranged like how fiseur does it (most recent at the top, oldest at the bottom)?

That could have been a good idea to restart the ratings after implementing the new system.

Also if you make one like this on a ME based map, you will gain at least 50% of all members in warlight.

is this working? i tried to join a game 6 hours ago and it got an error message. now, i still see the same game from about 12 hours ago.

no, there is a bug, RickP joined a game against Eeyore, RickP apparently has me blacklisted, so when i run validatetokenapi i get an error message instead of the usual info, which screwed the server process :) am in a hurry now, will fix it in a few hours.

so this means i found way to know if someone has blacklisted me, yay \o/

and that means people can screw the ladders up by simply blacklisting me, yay \o/ oh wait... no yay, mailing fizzer about it for a fix :)

ok, it's been fixed. Ladder re-opened.
