Qi, women are usually very contradictary.

They say you should treat everyone equally, but when you treat them like you would treat your friend, usually not extremely well, they complain because they are used to guys always letting them onto buses first, opening doors, pulling out a seat for them to sit on etc.
They complain about equality, then why don't women pull the chairs back for men?

Simple answer, normal humanity. Men have historically been the one who protects the family, whereas the mother takes care of the children. Women nowadays cannot get over this and only want men to treat them in certain ways equally, not the ones which are bad for them.

But at the same time there are sports laws against forming a female version of the NFL c:

Everyone here presumes women want special treatment but many women I know including myself will not judge or disregard a guy for being or not being a gentleman.
I also always shared the bills during the times when I still dated guys and can't recall doing anything which could be seen as having preferential treatment.

Of course, we don't want guys to burp,fart and reek of alcohol the whole time but I presume guys also don't have endless patience for that either with their friends.

Feminism is the fight for women to be afforded the same inherit rights as all humans. There is nothing that can be bad about that.

Feminism is not the fight for women to be seen as identical as men. It has little if anything to do with who pays a restaurant bill. It does have to do with being treated with respect as a person instead of as an object of affection or desire.

There is no such thing as an inherent right. "you have rights" is what people with power tell people who do not have power so that they will be obedient. Cant you see that the phrase "fight for an inherent right" is a contradiction? If you have to fight for something it is not inherent.

The feminist started moaning about women always being the victims in video games so I turned her off. That doesnt apply to a game with no characters like WL. I grew up on final fantasy seven, crash team racing and command and conquer, all of which use female characters in strong roles. Maybe that is why I have such a well adjusted demeanour towards women.

It is necessary to fight for inherent rights when the rights that have been inherently given you by somebody else is being restricted by another entity. For example, you have the right to breathe but if I begin to suffocate you, you will then begin to fight to breathe.

However, I disagree with the entire concept of feminism, because it by definition separates women into the group of "women needing something" which automatically contradicts with its very purpose. It is not that women need to achieve equality, but rather that humans ought obtain some form of equality (as this word can be measured and defined by almost an infinite number of ways). Feminism automatically separates women apart from the rest and thereby eliminates any possibility of achieving this equal treatment that would assume all involved parties are not [so] different and therefore should be treated the 'same'......even though women just separated themselves.... see the conflict?

the name "fem"inism is definitely bad, it can be very misleading. it should just be gender equalitarian or something ^^
