This is a bug I guess, but not critical. If I click on the flashing mail icon, it clears the flag (assuming I had a single thread with new messages). But, if I click the Mail tab from the menu (under "Community"), read all my mail, the icon still flashes for some reason even if I go to another page. It is not a huge deal, but that notification should update if you access mail from the menu approach as well.

Usually, I click the icon, read the message, click "back to my mail" at the top (if there is more than 1), click the next thread, repeat. If you do this, the icon does not clear. It only clears if you hit the icon in the top right AND you do not have more than 1 unread message.

It also covers up the clans tab.

It should stop flashing whenever you click on it, even if you have multiple threads. Is it not?

Not for me it doesn't. Not even close. That sounds more like an issue of resolution than layout to me

I will check next time I have multiple messages. Apollo maybe you can send me one in two mail threads to test since we have 2+ conversations going?

But, I was pretty sure if you click it once and you have multiple it does not stop the flashing. Either way, it seems like it should also clear it if you click the mail menu. Sometimes I use that instead of the icon because the icon pops up with the thread in a new window (sometimes desired sometimes not), and also that icon goes to the beginning of the thread, not the end like you get when using the mail tab.

Only the Flash one uses a new window (since it would close Flash otherwise, and the Flash app takes time to load so it's preferable not to close it.) If you're not in the flash app, it will load in the current window.

OK, well when the icon goes to the end of threads I will only use that from now on.

OK, so I had 4 mail messages this morning so I could do the test. I clicked the flashing mail icon first thing. It took me to my mailbox where I saw the 4 highlighted threads. Clicked one and read it. Clicked "<--back to my mail" at the top of the message thread. Now there are three highlighted threads and the icon is still flashing. Clicked other two threads and the back to mail again and the icon still flashes. It does not clear until I hit it and there are not additional mail threads to read.

In fact it is flashing right now as I am typing this and I have no mail to read anymore.

if it covers the clan tabs for you, then you need to get a better monitor, lol.

Chris this definitely happens. I get around it by clicking single player -> then back to whatever tab I was using. Not perfect but it does solve the issue.

It is not.
