The 1v1 tournament has ended! We successfully got all 128 players in like 25 minutes (thanks to Fizzer's popup announcements!), which I believe makes it the largest real-time tournament created so far!
We also got up to 98 viewers at one time, which I believe is another new record. :)

Stream Part 2: http://www.twitch.tv/wargaminglive/b/387477822
The 2v2 tournament tomorrow will continue as planned, but...
- Instead of Robespierre hosting the stream, I will.
- I can only host it until 2:00 PM US/Central, which is 7:00 GMT.
- We will start the stream early, probably about 30 minutes early.
- We will use the extra time to go over the Champions League and/or the results from the 1v1 that just ended.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 12PM US/Central the same as 6PM GMT??
Using this time converter from Kansas time to United Kingdom...?

Would you watch it if there was zero chance of your games being covered? Every week it's the same players, and multiple times in the same tournament, as they cover both semis and the final. They should do one noob game a week, in the first round.
There are more people watching the start of the stream, and most of those extra players are probably noobs, so they could use the intermediate strategy analysis first. Also, it could be funny if they are really bad.

Ironheart - i almost never see you play these events, maybe you just join the ones that i happen not to, but if you don't then why would you even mind? what i am saying is based on my personal experience, not my whim.
When i started joining these tournaments, i was a clanless, almost anonymous noob. I was not expecting my games to be covered. I was very surprised to reach #2 in sixth streamed live tournament (it was 2v2 and i think i was playing with hedja and it was my first livestreamed tournament ever) and the feedback i got from commentators was very motivating in spite of the fact they laughed hard at my noob moves week after week.. There was even a saying that somebody played a "classic fridge" which meant he had good start, and/or dominating position, but made a move that stupid, that it practically lost a won game.. But it had a great positive impact on my will to improve.
That little motivating influence these tourneys had on me is why i believe random people should be able to join it, and for this to happen, adverts by Fizz are a great thing. I do however believe he should send the adverts to slightly prerequisited group. maybe 100 games played with more > 30% winrate in the type of game that is covered by the tournament? I'm sure he would be able to do it, only question is - how much work would that require...
As for not using sze - despite his arrogance and lazyness he explains the map layouts and templates very well. Sometimes spot on, sometimes fixed only on his strategy idea and not all other possible approaches, but hey - is there even one person who could list all options? For sure there isn't. He is a very valuable commentator, no doubt. I only said he became a tad to harsh on beginners, so we could use some more lenient commentator for "less advanced" players' games.

Szew is very stubborn, I wouldn't expect him to cover those games. But I will from now on, whenever I am commentating.
