I am unsure what to do next season, anyone have any ideas?

Some closing thoughts:

- in an event like that activity is promoted, both Timinator and Surehand had more boot losses than me preventing them from effectively competing for 1st place
- long-term commitment and accuracy is required, in 1vs1 tournament my losses against dunga and surehand were a consequence to inaccurate play due to setting up a winning position early
- 1vs1 skill is necessary, so are reliable teammates
- events should be shorter, shorter=less possibility for boots

In any case Timinator could have effectively competed for 1st place, Surehand also had that opportunity (which I did not even realise untill it was close to over).

Also, what was the tie-breaker on equal points JSA?

I don't think so. Of course neither me nor JSA has monopoly on running those events, but it'd be unwise to have Champions League and 20 ongoing. I guess after warlight Champions League is over we will all discuss what format is better. In the end it was my intent for WCL to be a substitute for 20.

Tiebreaker went first to people who had teammates booted, if netiher had that problem, I went by 1v1 score then.

I agree with Sze about that. However, I don't know if any of you remember dunga's playoof tournamnet about a year ago? I was thinking of doing another one like that for the guys in [20].

I can live with that result, especially with gaining 0 points from 3v3 (myhand got booted in every game)
