with latest update to warlight, the gamefeed API now returns teams information for the games, so i improved the look of the ladder page a bit to include that info. Still not sure if left aligning and line breaking the names wouldn't be more readable. Let me know if you have any ideas how to improve it further.

looks good. i like the turns and w-l stats. when will it start spitting out new games?

the formula is that new games are created whenever the pending number of games drops below half the possible tiers.

right now there are 3 games going and 3 tiers of players available.

so 3 more games will be created when there is only 1 game left pending unless enough folks join to make 4 tiers possible, then we only have to wait for one of the games to finish instead of two.

I have noticed this only now and would like to participate. And thanks for working CLOT!!

first game seems to have finished, found a couple of bugs on the update of stats, seems to be fixed now.

was just posting a reply to Gui on another thread which got me thinking on how to determine the end of one season of this ladder (where the scores would reset). We had already established it would be cool that the winner of the season would decide the template for the next season. I was originally thinking of just letting the ladder run for a couple of months but it just occured to me it might be more interesting to make the season end whenever one of the players reaches a certain number of won games. I'm thinking 10.

Opinions?

How long would it take to get to 10 wins (assuming %65 win rate)? I'm not sure how often a person would get a game.

haven't made the math, i'm guessing each game takes something like a week or two. so to reach 10 wins at 65% win rate... it takes... a lot more then a couple of months. probably close to a year. hmmm...

how about the first person reaching a multiple of 3 wins picks the new template?

and the results would not reset until reaching 12 wins. should still be something like 9 months worth of random 3vs3 games but atleast the template will change every month or two months.

Another game finished which prompted 3 more games to get created.
