Best Overall Player: It's a hard one, but I have to say Timinator takes this one.

Best Strategic 1v1 Player: dead piggy, but I would like to nominate Widzisz who is very underrated.

Best 2v2 Team: It's very difficult to put a team here because while there have been many successful ladder 2v2 teams, they're not exactly optimal. I would say if Timinator and Zibik ever did a ladder run that would be one of the best if not the best ladder 2v2 team ever. But that's never happened. There's Timinator and ultimaratio, and Zibik and HHH. Then there's 2v2 teams that never played the 2v2 ladder, but play a lot of tournaments, and 2v2 teams that have played the ladder, but are better at other templates. I'm referring to Fridge and Gangnam Style for the 2v2 team that has never played the 2v2 ladder and yet is one of the best teams ever. Gnuffone and Szeweningen I do not think are suited for the 2v2 ladder template, and yet that's where most of their games as 2v2 partners are. Then there's old 2v2 teams that may or may not be that great today like Ruthless Bastard and Grinche, as well as Frankdeslimste and Luxis. So basically my nominations are as follows:

Timinator and ultimaratio
zibik and HHH
Fridge and Gangnam Style
Gnuffone and Szeweningen
Ruthless Bastard and Grinche
Frankdeslimste and Luxis

Best EU player: Psy

Best Teammate: Frankdeslimste (yeah I'm biased)

Best Clan: Apex (still biased)

Most Impressive Strategic 1v1 Game Win: I would post links but cba, I'll just vote from what everyone else has posted.

Most Thrown-Away Win: see above.

Most Self-Confident Player: Gui

Best Forum Poster: MathWolf

Best Individual Forum Post: Probably an x post.

Most Entertaining Alt Account: I second Lion, that was funny as hell.

Best Troll: Gui.

@Slammy
Who is this panel of judges? Many of the names I am thinking of that could be judges are people that are nominated. I dont think someone who is nominated should be a judge.

Lol that's definitely a thrown away game. Timinator had an FTB and put brisk down to 2 picks. he also has 15 income to brisk's 13 income with a pretty even army advantage (Yeah it's 5-1 and 7-5 in brisk's favor on the turn he appears on Timi's borders, but Timi has 4 leftovers on the SA front with +2 income. It's even.)

Where's the famous game that coined the term pulling a Fridge?

Any more nominations?

I'd like to say that there are a couple awards that should be considered winnable by almost anyone. Mainly:

Best Clan
Best Teammate

"Best Clan" should not necessarily be the strongest in competition, although that certainly is a good argument for it. Some other argument could be what best embodies camaraderie, or teaching/guidance, or any number of things.

"Best Teammate" can likewise have several different arguments.
