We have all played this map so many times, but I just saw this for the first time myself. Shouldn't India be connected to Xinjiang, or at least Tibet to Pakistan? By not making at least one of these an option, the area immediately north of India becomes a physical impossibility. I am sure that someone has noticed this before, making me completely wrong (or at least completely obsolete) but I would love to hear feedback on this issue. Here are some pictures to help you visualize it.

I think it was meant to have a "square" connection. (Nothing crosses through.)
Although it would make sense that one would connect...

Only if you think Texas should be connecting to Midwest and Rocky Mountains.

No. Otherwise India is weakened as a bonus.

I didn't design that map, but I can imagine it this way: If all four territories meet at a point, would you really be able to march an entire army across that point without first entering one of the other territories? The numbers on the maps are called armies, not infinitely-thin-men.

To put a real world spin on it, I am under the impression that there are a few mountains in that area. Perhaps there is an impassable peak there?

I agree with Fizzer. I hate when territories connect diagonally (across a single vertex). It is illogical to me.

That's a good one Fizzer, I have also those problems with my maps, should you connect those points or not?
Anyway, it doesn't look the same as the real world as you can see on the picture

If you think WarLight should be that realistic, then you also think Issander should remove Rockall from this map: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=19235 This is Rockall.

Do you honestly think you could fit a whole army on there?

Therefore, either the men are infinitely thin or it's just a game so realism doesn't matter too much.
