So I recently started trying out my luck in 1v1's and just finished up a fun match. After watching the history I know I made some mistakes which in hindsight should have been more thought out, which brings me to the point of this.

Just curious as to if my picks were decent, and other minor - or major things I may have missed.

That was good, much better than your win % would lead me to expect.

Complete your first bonus with 4v2s, it needs to be done by the end of turn 2, no exceptions.

Don't wait to play +5 reinf cards if you know where the enemy is. If you had played it turn 5 on e china you would have been winning.

You messed it up in turn 7, you better could have used your troops in West Russia to annoy him in Scandinavia and went all out on regaining East china back. You knew he had limited income so you could take his troops down 18vs13 (not sure if that would break him).

I haven't used cards a lot so I'm still learning the ins and outs of how to efficiently use them. Turn 7 was also where I thought I could have reclaimed East China after re-watching it. Next time I may have better luck.

Also, in what situations should Order Delay and Blockade cards be played? Pretty sure I failed at using them well.
