It would be extremely helpful if you could point out any missing links/particularly bad borders/Naming errors/bonus balancing etc...
I have not properly done the bonus balancing yet as I have yet to finish the south of Africa.
I have missed a few islands off as well, I may add them later (Cape Verde....)
Many border lines may have gaps in since I have drafted this map up in less than 24 hours, so reporting these would be much appreciated. ( I have purposely left big gaps for lakes, although may have missed some vital big lakes in the north, reporting missed lakes is helpful too)

There are a lot of aesthetics I have yet to do: Adding rest of Yemen and Oman but keep them blacked out. The sea's naming and colour and getting the size of the map best for playing. (Edges of Screen)

This is most likely my last map, It is very unlikely I will do another because I have time commitments for the foreseeable future and I only attempted this as I had a lot of the North of Africa pre-drawn. I may be slow to finish the map but I will try to get it into testing mode as quick as possible.

If you want to test, simply say "I am in for testing" and state the amount of testing games you willing to do. All tests will be multiday

Thanks a lot to all who respond and the testers in advance, it is much appreciated! :)

Thanks Timinator.
Borders will be fixed at a later date. It is the border overlapping which is the hardest to get right between bonuses, showing enough to recognise it is a different bonus but at the same time no leave holes. ;/

Thanks for missing connections.

Looking at the wiki, I have found "Stroke width (border width): The stroke width will always be 1." which will make it easier. On previous maps I had a problem where there was a bug with the border sizes, but it seems to work fine now.

Where's south Sudan? It's a different country, you know.
And you should probably make Western Sahara a different country, because people don't agree on whether it's part of Morocco or Mauritania.

I think you should divide the democratic republic of congo some more.

Moros - Western Sahara as a separate country doesn't agree with me, as it kinda makes sense to have it in the Moroccan bonus,

"The Western Sahara was partitioned between Morocco and Mauritania in April 1976, with Morocco acquiring the northern two-thirds of the territory.[7] When Mauritania, under pressure from Polisario guerrillas, abandoned all claims to its portion in August 1979, Morocco moved to occupy that sector shortly thereafter and has since asserted administrative control over the whole territory" -Wiki

On the other-hand I completely agree with you on the Republic of South Sudan, the map I am drafting from is pre-2011 so it just passed me by, I should have realized - thanks for pointing out that! :)

Ironheart - I agree too, it may be done - I simply copied the political borders, finding a suitable map to copy smaller partitionings can be hard. I could go make arbitrary borders by splitting by "east/west/north" etc...

Not much progress on the map yet, can't find much time!

Just quickly done the rest of south, and sea.
South Sudan is now a separate country.
If there are any more connection errors, please let me know! :)

Next I will touch up everything, especially the borders, and fill in the lakes/create islands and sort out bonus values.
Don't have time to do anymore today though!

Ironheart, do you mean there is a warlight map of Dem.Congo? If there is could you post it here please, that would be very helpful thanks!

Thanks Timinator again!

I have made Megabonus's that can be activated now. I was thinking about putting all the bonus's currently on 0 at 1 income, so they appear an still, minimally influence the match. Also cards could be used to survey these. I could have the megabonus's on 5 or something to minimize the influence of them but still give an incentive.

I am happy with the Dem.Congo as it is now I think, partioning it up more would reduce playabilty I think - too many territories as it is.

Could someone check that the borders of most the Saharan Countries are ok, I also did Chad and Cameroon (Most Sudan), so those should have minimal overlapping and no/little gaps.

Bonus values wil be considered soon, so any input is helpful.

Fizzer has done a good job of the new border size of 1 staying at 1. This bug was very annoying on my previous maps but seems to be working better now! :)

Hmmm What makes a post notable?

I think the lack of testers/comments is massively less than previous maps...maybe due to this thread not being notable as most of traffic just check notable threads...unless Warlight's forums have died down since last time.

Thanks Moros, Ironheart!

Does anyone know where the forum of "already agreed' testers are. I remember a list of people who agreed to be invited to testing games of any map...but I can't find it using the search. Cant remember what it was called..
