I have. But now I'm working hard again to finish it. Finally!

I plan to have the work done over the weekend, but this may take a day or two more, and Fizzer may not agree to make the map public on the first go, because most of the territories only barely fit the army number, and some fit only 1 digit.

I love you Issander. Mostly because you're the first map-maker to name the regions in Texas correctly.

I wanted to do that to every state but some of them were just too small and I had to did generic "northern, southern, western, eastern, central" stuff.

Looks pretty busy. Might be hard to make sense of it all.

You may just want to look around and fix any spelling errors. This map looks lovely, and you are doing a great job, but the Spelling's just lacking a little bit, like you would have "Norheastern" or "Sothwestern".

maybe you should have a look at your names in the Nepal bonus. Now they are: East, Central, West, MidWest, FarWest. You could change this into: East Nepal, Central Nepal, West Nepal, etc. I see this with more bonusses. If you simply add the name of the regio/countries after it, than that would stop confusion.

BTW is "Charhamaran and Bahtiari Provance & Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmar Province" the longest territoryname on WarLight?

Correcting such things as territory names is to me a job for version 1.1. It is not important to the gameplay.

It could be a problem. if multiple territories have the same name, it can cause confusion (and I think that when you make a link in the chat, you aren`t sure which one of these territories it will choose.)

You think wrong, it will always choose the one you have clicked because the script work on territory ID, not it's name (that's why it is even possible for the territories to have the same name)

Everytime I see this, a tear rolls down my cheek out of its sheer beauty and because the New Siberian Islands get more notice than Singapore.

You can see that all is done, except Canada and Russia.

I think USA Bonus should be more than 41 because Alaska and Hawaii are not directly connected from Mainland USA. Mainland USA has 171 territories and 31 in Alaska, 5 in Hawaii, total 207 territories + at least 3 territories that are not in USA. so if you only have 1 pick, you need to take at least 210 territories. Another reason for this is the number of territories is larger than other 'big' countries (that you use same bonus formula), making USA harder to take and defend. so I think USA bonus should worth about 48.

@ Issander: Great map, 5/5 stars. I've been hoping for a world map that really focused less on the supermassive bonuses and more on the basic ones. Also, I like haw you included all the islands, instead of making Hawaii connected to Tokyo (seriously that always left me wondering whether they had flunked geography).
My only problem, and it's sort of nit-picky and easily remedied, is that there are a lot of small bonuses worth one, which causes a rush for those areas and unbalances them.

Nice job. I suggest altering the look of the Europe bonus links (that box). It is not intuitive and you have to just keep clicking them (color is only guide).

I would suggest copying only the outline of the countries in Europe, pasting it to that location and using those shapes as the bonus links rather than the squares.

I do see you have them arranged like the spots they link to, which is nice.

But you could grab something like this (it has some countries you don't need):
