When I will have my life back from exams, other than joining the 1v1 ladder, see the light of the sun and other horny stuffs I was planning to read it.
But after some recherches on blogs I have found totally divergent opinions about this book:/
Some people say that reading it is insane, some other say that not reading it is insane:O
Since it is a pretty expensive volume can someone give me a final suggestion?

What you need to realsie about the book is that it actually is quite good, and probably much more demanding than many of the great books ever written (which doesnt necessairly means it is better). It looks like you can read french and if you do i would certainly recomend you to read it in french. Opinions come and go, and opinions about Proust's book are many. Read it and have one of your own, don't read it if you dont intend to acutally commit yourself to this reading

By acknowledging this fact, you want to put it beyond mention, but the problem is it is absolutely true.

The answer is within yourself. Subconsciously, you know what answer you wish to receive. I suggest you flip a coin, and your reaction to the choice will give you your decision.

My interpretation of the motive of your post is that you do not really feel like reading it, and if you attempt it, you will give up part of the way through.

I would instead reccomend The Hungry Caterpillar to you, I think it might improve your English skills.

What I meant is:

- I don't have so much money to waste in this period and I was interested in buying that book.
- I have found that the book price is 40 euros.
- I asked if someone who has read that book could give me a final opinion on it, because I didn't want to buy a book that is readable only from a few people (like The Ulysses of Joyce)...

Read Don Quixote, it's easy. It's funny, and episodic. And there's two novellas within the actual story, so it's only 850 pages. Just get an edition with footnotes, so the period details and untranslatable wordplay can be explained a little bit.
