I usually hate novelty and gimmicks, but 'no split' could be fun. Season templates are very hit and miss, before i spend time on games can people post their experiences with it so far?

I don't really like it. If you expect your opponent to be somewhere he isn't and you send a stack, this stack is almost lost, because you can't use him for expanding properly. Blockades are super effective when used right (e.g. antarctica) because the laftovers can't be properly used for expanding

Everything MoD said. Everything relies on warlord placement too. Russia can be as unfeasible as North Africa if it's not placed right.

Also there is a bug where no-stack isnt working so the ladder may be reset.

Yeah this is the most fun part of this new feature. Tactics behind picking are very different.

For example it's very rare to get a board with a FTB on it with these settings and the only bonuses you can take in 2 turns with 1 warlord are SEA and Scan (if the warlord is placed right).

I would agree with Darkpie that it does make picking territories a new challenge, but not being able to split when bordering your opponent causes luck to become a much more important factor as opposed to outmaneuvering.

The template itself is great, but implementing it into the ladder without testing, which lead to unfair wins for a few players is not ok.
