Some new maps had big ranking decline since July 21, while old maps had ranking rise of 2-3 places because of it.

Maps always start out very high and then drop as more, less enthusiastic people find them on top of the list and rate them.

This website's great, I've been looking at some of the old 1v1 ladder rankings. It goes right back to the nostalgic Impaller days.
