No, it was never discussed. Anybody with an ounce of integrity would have at least said something in chat or on the forum before just booting me.

I wasn't even aware it was a 48-hour game. Nor was I aware I needed to check the forum hourly for you to behave like a civilized human being.

Ryan has poor reading comprehension. He read this: "Not starting or accepting a new game for 48 hours is the same as a forfeit. Not going to beat you 9 times in a row and have you simply refuse to join any more games." He thought it meant this: "If you don't make a move in 48 hours, you can be booted."

Billy whines. The game was lost. I'd boot him too if he did that to me. But at a different time. If he did that to me in real-time, I'd boot at five minutes. A multi-day and I'd boot at three days. Billy has a track record of failing to surrender once he realizes the game is over. No need to wait for such a player.

All I have to say on this matter is that you were already in a situation where recovery was basically impossible. I would take your side but before every game (yes every game) the basic settings (boot times, multi-attack, luck etc.) should be checked, you have only yourself to blame for not abiding by the time listed in the setting. In fact if settings are what get you so riled then you should probably have made the game yourself.
