Dear Reader,

"Ask Piggy" is a serious thread dedicated to improving the level of play in games of mutual solitaire.

In contrast, this thread has no lofty purpose. And all questions will be addressed. If you've ever had a question about the game, for me or about life in general, Happy is here to help.

Sincerely,

Happy

Dear Hell Bender,

That is an excellent question. To put it simply, happiness is a subjective state of mind that exists when one's expectations are met. All of my expectations in life are more or less satisfied or in the process of being realized. Thus, I am happy.

All the best,

Happy

Will you try a solo commentary or co-commentary with me at some point? Disagreement gives birth to new ideas.

Why do you refer to yourself by the adjective in your name rather than the noun?

Dear HHH (I wrote the acronym backwards),

I expect to complete less than 10,000 games. Boston lives in Boston. I have only passed through Boston for a few days.

Dear WM sze,

An audio commmentary does not interest me much. I prefer nonsensical or humorous things. To be so serious when discussing people's moves would make me think I am working, yet there wouldn't be any pay.

Dear X,

Piggy made Ask Piggy, so to make it perfectly clear that I lack originality I made a title that follows the same pattern: Ask [Consonant + vowel + double consonant + y].

Dear Happy Buddha,

I don't feel that your answer to x is satisfactory. Why didn't you use 'Ask [noun]'? Is that not even less original? Were you really afraid of being called blasphemous? Is there even such a thing as blasphemy in Buddhism, Happy Buddha?

Thanks,

Gnullbegg

Yes, it is obvious from your forum postings that you are an extremely light-hearted individual.

I am satisfied with your response, but I find it odd/revealing that you construct sentences on a letter-by-letter basis, like a monkey on a typewriter, rather than by the meaning of the words.

What gnullbegg suggested:

Dead piggy > [adjective] noun > piggy > Ask piggy
Happy Buddha > [adjective] noun > Buddha > Ask Buddha

Gnullbegg, there is no God in Buddhism, so there cannot be blasphemy.

Dear Gnullbegg,

To indulge in a question and answer session with you is my great pleasure.

A1: By making Happy my name it is now a noun.
A2: I don't feel fear when typing innocuous words unrelated to blasphemy.
A3: I don't know. I'm not Buddhist, I only happily work at a Buddhist school.

You're welcome,

Happy

More accurate answer to your question billy

1.the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.

2.the sum of the distinguishing phenomena of organisms, especially metabolism, growth, reproduction, and adaptation to environment.

3.the animate existence or period of animate existence of an individual: to risk one's life; a short life and a merry one.

4.a corresponding state, existence, or principle of existence conceived of as belonging to the soul: eternal life.

5.the general or universal condition of human existence: Too bad, but life is like that.

Dear me,
How happy could one become if happiness was measured in trollish forum post units (T.fp.U);
were T.fp.U (short for "trollish forum post units") is defined as a function of Inner happiness multiplied number of post :

"Inner happiness = (T.fp.U)*NB.post"?

Crack me up!

Dear RSP,

Your first question has already been answered in perfectly clear English. But I can provide a Chinglish-friendly response too: Boston不是我.

With respect to your second question: on average I check the forum maybe 4-15 times a day (mainly between classes or before bed to help me get sleepy, sometimes while commuting) and play about 0-4 real-time games (in the office after dinner). I have about 10 multiplayer games going.

Sincerely,

Happy

Dear Piggy,

The top 4 are more or less equal. If Sze's losing effort against Bowdown counted as a loss like it should have, the top 4 would probably all be rated within 20-30 points.
