I keep on getting booted in the real time ladder because I don't realize the game has started. Unless I'm refreshing the page, I don't know the game starts. Sometimes I forget and don't refresh it/leave for a bit and forget. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes, there is a mechanic with the Real-Time ladder that makes you leave the ladder after you are booted from one game. The only way to prevent that from happening is by making sure you've left the RT ladder and that no games have started up. Leaving the RT ladder doesn't remove your rank like it does on other ladders, you ranking goes away after 3 days of RT ladder inactivity.

If you have a mobile device, set it so that it goes off every time you get a notification from Warlight's mobile app. That way, every time it's your turn in something, you'll know.

I get a little symbol pop up in the corner of my tablet when its my turn in multi day but not realtime. It seems it would be more useful when there is an imminent threat of booting. How can I change the settings?

I join the ladder whenever I know im gonna get a game so a few seconds before every 5 minutes which insures I won't get booted or stress out about avoiding to.

Are you saying games are created on the 5 minute mark? Eg you join a few seconds before, say 16:05?

doesn't work on tablet, but I open 2nd window with portion showing, while I continue to take turns in multi day. That way I can see when the game starts.

I think we should be able to make the My Games page auto refresh every few minutes. Unfortunately it would result in higher server costs for Fizzer which is why he hasn't done it yet.

I guess I don't see the major issue here. If you join the ladder and you are waiting for a matchup, just check every minute or so. Once the game starts, you know you have 5 minutes for them to join. Why bog down the site because some people can't keep their eye on a clock? Everyone has timers on their smart phones, just set a timer.

I also get booted a lot. Refreshing the site every minute is quite onerous if you are playing at work. Its also just generally very easy to get distracted when sat at a computer. Can anyone answer why I cant get the symbol to pop up when its my turn in the realtime ladder but I can in the multiday? Would it be hard to implement.

Also, it would be really handy if the important settings changes are highlighted in the game description. ie LD or not, special cards, Fog type, luck settings.

At the moment the RT ladder is not good for playing on phones and tablets.

I really want to enjoy the RT ladder.

I am dominating the realtime ladder right now by the way.

No one wanted to join whilst I was sat their on my own with a 1600 rating. I Was dominating. Still am.

As Marquis de Vauban, I simply play once every three days and join after I see a suitable opponent. In this way, I don't wait much at all and don't ever get booted.
