If it procs on a unobtonium bar or whatnot, it’d be freaking awesome. Could toggle when the multihour build time is up. The passive bonus money boost someone mentioned seemed pretty great. I like the “reduce a territory by x%” one alright since it can essentially save me an hour’s worth of troops on the big targets even at uncommon. Plus i retains value. The free merc one is nice to have for newer forays into a map. My biggest issues is still that the market economy is grossly imbalanced

@Pasterma
also what does "smelt double" do when it says : 3% chance of smelters producing two alloys instead of one ? Means somehow i would have 2 alloy when i smelt 1 ? on 3 out of 100 smelts ? that totally useless no?

That would be the expected bonus, but it's not that simple. You may get unlucky and not get a double smelt in a given 100 smelts, or you may get very lucky and get 200 alloys in a given 100 smelts. That 3% is a random chance. You're not guaranteed 3 extra alloys every 100 smelts.

but to use them, they just have to placed in the 3 card window and dont need anay activation is that it ?

still i dont get : 3% chance of smelters producing two alloys instead of one. if i smelt an ore and watch it smelt 100 ores, i will have 103 at the end of the 100 smelts ? or am i more stupid than i tought i was ?

Passive means you just need them equipped at the time of proccing (when the bar smelts). Chance is just chance. Each time you smelt a bar, imagine a 100 sides dice rolls. If it lands on 1, 2, or 3... you get two bars. If not, the usual 1 bar

I have a passive draft booster, and a passive hospital booster. it's nice, when im just waiting to accumulate armies and occasionally drafting, I keep my draft bonus active, and then when I go on a spree of territory conquering, I substitute in the hospital bonus.

I think it is beneficial to start digging before the end for sure (now that I've done a few) so you get more artifacts without lingering on the level. But I would only buy them if you have the money to spend at the moment.

I think I like the passive artifacts better. Because the ones you "activate" will be stuck in that slot for 24 hours.

There seem to be a number of kinds, also. And it does seem like the rarity only impacts the boosts you get (ie 5% vs 10% etc)

Are dig sites one time use only? I know you can't dig again on a given play of the map, but if you replay the map, can you dig at those sites again? Or is it like bonus powers that go away after getting collected twice?

Can anyone explain the Army Cache artifact? "Instantly get an army cache of size 7%" 7% of what?

Edit: Sort of answered my own question by trying it. It's terrible. I'm currently halfway through Roads of Silk and Iron and my normal draft is worth about 6M. The artifact gave me a draft of half that, 3M.

Me too . . . I have "Money Cache - Instantly get a money cache of size 5%" (Usable once every 24 hours).

5% of what?

And this artifact is different from the passive artifacts "Bonus Money Boost", "Money Cache Boost", "Territory Money Boost".

The artifact I focused on was the Army Camp Boost. I've upgraded that to rare, giving me a 20% income boost. I've also upgraded the money cache one to uncommon.

the artifacts that give you 7% of money/ army cache work just like power-ups, but only part of them. For example if you will gain 100m by normal cache, you gain 7m using the artifact. To upgrade artifact you just have to click on artifact, then click upgrade, pick 4 artifacts of the same rarity to sacrifice them and finally click ok, or sth like that. Upgrade of common to uncommon artifact-12h(you can run more than 2 upgrades at once), uncommon to rare-24h

no, Fizzer should fix the description of the cache artifact, since everyone is still confused what they take X% of....

Based on what I've seen so far, you would get X% of what you would get if you would activate the free cache power, but only the armies/money/items (based on the artifact you are using)

My guess, the Free Cache powerup is the base for all percent-based supplies artifacts. The supplies obtained from the Free Cache powerup vary depending how far you advanced into the level - early in the game you get few supplies, later you get way more. The amount is probably your money/armies/resources income for a specific amount of time, but I haven't studied it yet.
There aren't Money Cache powerups, as there aren't army and resource ones either; had these existed, they would provide you with 3x the amount from the Free Cache powerup, but only of the supplies they represent.
The artifacts provide a percentage of what these powerups would provide.
