i would like a clarification on picks - I thought, that after you place your numbers, for each location, whoever has the smaller number gets the pick. For equal numbers some sort of random decision is made who gets it.

But, and I have seen this before, but forgot the exact game and do not wish to search for it, in this game watch the western norway pick.

My opponent has it as pick 2, it is pick 3 on my list.

The game starts, I am in western norway.

So either this is a rare bug ( though I can not be sure, I have not always checked carefully ), or I have simply misunderstood the way picks are distributed.

yes I had to think it through a little but got it now, so he was first, got his first, then I got my 2, order reverse, I get 3 and so on.

In that particular game, nhias got first pick. He gets Iceland.
After that, you get two picks. Since your first choice is already taken, you get picks 2 and 3, Ireland and Norway.
Then, nhias gets his next two available picks... Iceland is taken, Norway is taken, so he gets picks 3 and 4, Benelux & France.

... and so on.
