How can it not be intentional? Income difference you could write off, if position was better for smaller income. But to put 40 extra armies on the border is certainly deciding the game from turn 1

And as for the scenario - there was ABSOLUTELY NO chance of rome winning this. not with misplaced roman army, spain free for expansion, additional army to break blockade in france, and NO bonus for romans to take..

What are you talking about Turtle. All custom scenario games are not practice. And all custom scenario games are not rigged. I have two custom scenarios on one of my maps that are supposed to be pretty balanced (they were modeled after an actual board game). People have WWII scenarios. They are not rigged...

Maybe you should try my scenarios some time. They are pretty fun. Not the same strategic value as a ladder game, but they should be balanced none the less.

I like how he said "last time I checked"...where did he check? There are just so many unbalanced ones on here (probably %95 of them) that he didn't even know they could be used to make a balanced scenario.
