I've seen a few similar threads around but decided to start a new one where you can post games and analyse some creative and unique strategies from top players. I found this game http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=4737408 a bit interesting as zibik puts his 5,6 in west us and canada (inefficient bonuses) which leads to him winning the game. If you have any fun games to show feel free to post them here.

Turn 12 gives away an easy win for brisk btw, so not sure if zibik's decision was that good.
Maybe an easy win is an exaggeration, but i'd definitely prefer brisk's position if he just pushes SA full.

If it was no fog then turn 12 is an obvious blunder. One of the benefits of picking east US is that it was unpredictable and gave brisk the option of making a mistake.

I posted most of the interesting ladder games with analysis a while ago. My RT games are always shit.

That is maybe the first game I've seen against a great player where East US was picked to win the game for someone other than as a counter.

If my subconscious wanted to create an alter ego to trick even paranoid me, it would act exactly like MysteryMan. This is just brilliant.

That one I was actually quite fond of for 2 reasons. First, my picks seem very standard and it looks like I got a bad position just getting picks 3/5 out of risky picks, however I intended to do that, since I knew if I get 3 and 5, he has most likely scan+russia, which means fast early income and his agression near australia is justified. Not moving in antarctica begs for a blockade, which I wanted since the counter in Indonesia is almost impossible to predict. Overall the strategy was to force him to waste troops around aus as much as possible and force a blockade. The 2nd reason is how the game went, because after a forced win on turn 5, I forgot to add attack on aus last order on turn 6, after that I had to get lucky to still win.

I don't recall many recent creative 1v1 games, since I only rarely played gnuff in strat 1v1 and some rt ladder games. Unfortunately, rarely creative is efficient.
