I have been trying to create a game
http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=3313157
and it will show up under "my games" tab but not in the game lobby.

Weird, is anybody else finding this?

By "game lobby" you mean the open games tab? That happens if you don't meet the open seat prerequisites you defined.
