I've honestly never seen such a huge quantity of amazing players in the 2v2 ladder and I was wondering which is the best team in your opinion. Do you think that the current holders really deserve such an advantage to other teams?? Without any offence I do not...

Those are my personal rankings...I think you could make a case for any of the top 4 as the #1 team though. All of these 10 teams are tough opponents...I'm sure different people will have many different rankings with them though.

I was just going by the ranked teams currently. Otherwise we could add the pwn's, FBG Dragons and Gaspumper, and hard telling how many others.

I don't know Doggy, that might be accurate for unknown and Ribena. As two 1v1 players they are certainly not 10th place material. As a team, they very well could be.

You yourself do much better at 2v2 than 1v1, and I think you'll agree that 1v1 and 2v2 are very different games. If 1v1 translated directly to 2v2, then lobstrosity and Chris would have debuted in the top three and stayed there. Instead, they debuted pretty low and fought their way into the middle ranks of the top 10.

I haven't played everyone in the top 10 yet, but I think his rankings might be pretty accurate, as far as such things go. I expect unknown and Ribena will get much better as they perfect their teamwork and team picking, but right now they play more like two (very good) 1v1 players on the same team.

You're right. Nevertheless I would place them slightly higher than 10th. Have only played them and all others once so that's all I am basing this on anyway.

On a side note, I have seen them use quite intriguing tactics that I haven't seen any other team do.

Like I said, I'm sure everyone will have different opinions. These are just mine personally which doesn't mean their right. I wasn't impressed by Ribena and unknown's 3-4 games that I have looked at. I'm sure they will get better as they are a new team and both are very good 1v1 and 3v3 players. It just takes a little time to get used to the 2v2 format with a new teammate. Just my personal rankings though so it's not like they matter much. Feel free to rank them yourself. Your's would probably be more accurate as you are actually in the ladder right now and have played a lot of these teams.

Azir, there is more to 2v2 games than two really good players. Even assuming that they are both amazing at 2v2 (I don't know Ribena outside of playing with unknown), they need to play well together. That's why I talked about lob and Chris, since they are both amazing players, but had to learn how to play together.

I'm not even saying that Ribena is some kind of weak link in the team, but simply that they are still learning to work together.

Ladder is never-ending hunt, sometimes you are predator, sometimes prey. When predator have heart of hungry lion and focus of prowling tiger. When prey think like pack animal, talk like monkey and react like treed tiger springing free.

Oh dear. Two [20] veterans with a combined 3000+ team games under their belts including 300+ 2v2 games each, and still they have to learn to play together...

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but you guys are forming opinions of teams based on the results of literally a handful of games, when the players you're talking about have far more experience than that. If the ten teams on JSA's list played a 2v2 round robin right now, I couldn't imagine unknownsoldier and Ribena possibly finishing in last place, and I suspect I∂ƒ∂oggY would agree.

I don't think that is possible to make any scientific ranking on wich team is the best, and I don't think it is right to compare your own team with other ones so after these 2 things that I must say in my opinion best team is Ruthless Bastard and Grinche's one.
In fact in order to understand how to pick I've studied almost all the current top teams and I did feel that Ruthless and Grinche invented a new way to pick that allowed them to crush other teams' lack of creativity as long as they were motivated to play so intensly.
After them I would rank
2 hhh and dunga
3 luxis and frank
4 ribena and unknown (I would have ranked them second but they still have to proove themselves as a ladder team)
5 duke and superraimbow

Other teams seem to me a little step far from these ones.

Trilussa tiger, Lion look at Ruth Bastard and Griche's picking invention. Lion then look at other teams. Lion notice that after Ruth Bastard and Griche invent new style of picking mid or late June, the Emptyman and Donkeyman copied them in late March or early April. And the Porn team was already doing the same thing in late 2011.

Lion see Empty Donkey team was played by Emptyman at that time. And the Porns are brothers. Making picks that way need great focus. Porn brothers think like one. Empty Donkey same person. Greasy Bastard team must spend long time talking about picks. Maybe they live together. Or they are same person.
