I think Tehran is in "Garmsar" or "Ravy" territory here , but Tehran was capital first of the Qajar dynasty very later, in this time (800-1200) only its ancestor city existed: Rey, what was not very significant place in the middle age.

Btw from where do you get "Ravy" Moros, I cant find a place with this name nowhere. Maybe Ravy is not Rey?

I checked it again, and it turned out I misread Ravy, it was actually Rayy, old spelling for Rey ;-)
And I don't think Hormuz (or Hormozia in old spelling) was quite as poor as you said. Marco Polo travelled there in 1272 and reported lots of trading in ivory, silk and pearls. I think it should be 2.

Here's the Southern Caucasus:

67 territories: 107 total. A bit low, but I think it can be compensated with the nearby Crimea area, which was all valuable ports.
Ani: capital of Bagratid Armenia
Dvin: capital of a different Armenia
Erevan: important city and trading center
Tbilissi: strategic city and capital of various Georgian (puppet)states.
Kutaissi: also capital of Georgia at some point
Semender: capital of Khazaria
Derbend: important trading city
Shemakha: capital of Shirvan Khanate
All the yellow is important tribes or moderately important towns, and the white is for tiny tribes and unsignificant towns (i.e. has stub articles on Wikipedia).

Don' you think (Buda)Pest should be worth 4 armies?

Buda and Pest were also important cities in this time, but as capital first under Louis the Great in the 14. century. So I think if there is a 4 army region that can be Esztergom, because that was the royal residence and the first christian religious center in the age of this.

Go ahead! I have to warn you: while researching I found out that Sarytsin and Saqsin are actually two different names for the same thing. But lacking a better name in that area a have decided to keep it that way.

Map of Poland/ East Germany with 67 territories and 119 armies.

Danzig: A major trading port along the river Vistula. Estimated to have 25,000 inhabitants and very important. Raised from 3 also for some balance purposes.
Warszawa: THe capital of Mazovia and the later commonwealth
Stettin: another major trading port as well as rich surroundings.
Gniezno: Royal court of Poland until it was moved to Krakow.
Poznan: An important city - one the first.
Krakow: The Royal court of Poland for a long time until it moved to Warsaw.
Prague: The capital of Bohemia.

Perhaps raise the value of Bohemian and German provinces and lower Polish?

Also, should Paris and Genova be raised to 4 and cordoba to 3. They are all 'super metropolises' Cordoba was even larger than Constantinople at the start of this era.

Moro, your southern Caucuses map is only 57 territories.
Also how did you split your map up (into groups of 67 territories)

You're right, I must have miscounted. In that case I will adjust it to contain some more of the Middle East.
And I like your idea of Danzig! I think the metropolises will be Danzig, Esztergom, London, Rome (because Pope), either Bordeaux or Paris, one Spanish city, Koumbi Saleh (capital of the insanely rich Mali Empire), Tunis, Alexandria, Aksum (powerful city in Ethiopia), Jerusalem, possibly Makka (Mecca), Baghdad, Constantinople, possibly Gujarat, one Russian city, possibly a Georgian city, one southern-German city, Bukhara or Merv and maybe a Scandinavian city. What I intend to do with the city placements is that if you manage to capture three of them you are automatically an Emperor.
And you may decide for yourself what divisions to use.

Kiev would be an ideal metropolis. And maybe Novgorod or Moskova too.
