I am wondering what the criteria are for selecting notable posts are. Can anyone tell us?

I think I understand the general intent, but I think it must be pretty hard to have universal judgment on this. What I have noticed so far, is that some threads that have no connection to the game at all are notable; and that invitational tournament ideas are consistently left out. I think this feature needs work.

Since the works of philosopher Wittgenstein it is clear: in natural languages words have no absolute value because the metric of meaning permanently changes in respect to context.

There are no criterias, just threads randomly picked by mods.

Someone should make this thread notable :D
