Size of the country does not matter. What matters is number of players on Warlight from those places. I would suspect despite this being a site made by a US citizen, that there are more players from Europe than USA.
Not to mention you'd be leaving out players from other continents in your matchup. You'd be best to try and divide the entire world into two sides.
And if you look at Nations cup, there are more elite players from Europe than from USA, that much is certain. Just look at the clan 20. There might be 1 or 2 players from the US on there I think. If you look at my clan, there are only two of us from the US and we are nowhere near the top players in our clan. If I look at two more elite clans...I don't know of any US player in WM (there may be, I just don't know it), and apex I think has a few (some may be retired though).
What I am saying is USA vs Europe would be a huge mismatch in Europe's favor. It makes sense given that Europe has double the population. Even if you did Europe vs the world it might not be fair.

I would say Europe has a much deeper talent pool.
*NOTE - many of these players are not great, but are players you'd consider using in certain formats. The intent is just to show how much deeper the talent pool is for Europe.
the number of good players in Europe, I can count with my fingers. The number of good non-european players is the same number as Mysteryman's brain cells.
Europe would pick up a lot of good players from Middle East, Aus/NZ on [a west hemisphere vs. east hemisphere battle] - They lose England, Spain, Portugal and part of France in this definition, though (France should probably be fully placed on the West Side, though). Also, the US would be able to pick up players from North and South America (Brazil, Canada... maybe a few other great players). It wouldn't be as unbalanced as US vs. Europe, I think.
