Unless France is considered west, that would be less balanced than Europe vs World (which is already lopsided).

Most of the elite players seems to be concentrated in central Europe.

I am in the US and may be interested, but if activity this time around important before mid August count me out. Big trip to Brazil (wife from there) will limit my play time soon until back.

I would have to agree that the talent pool in Europe is a little bit deeper than the west. However, in a recent forum post featuring demographics there were a LOT more European players than American. So it should be no surprise that the European players have more depth. Its just like football team USA just does not have the depth of some of these European teams even though there are some quality American players that could probably make it on any European squad.
