With our first tournament being such a success, we have decided to keep this going at a weekly pace until I die or Mythonian catches a cold. (I'm not dead yet, Mythonian is healthy.) The players of last tournament will automatically be added to this next tournament. If you played in last tournament let me know if you're not going to make it this time. New-comers are encouraged to sign up so long as you follow these requirements:

1. You will play the games real-time, even if the settings don't force you to.
2. You will be present for when the tournament starts.

Failure to meet requirements will have your game skipped and count as a loss. You may also be expelled from anymore live stream tournaments dependent on my mood. For example, Aggressive Numbers is encouraged to play again even though he was disqualified last tournament. (He had told me prior that he may not be able to play it real-time.. I threw him in anyways)

There are no requirements based on your skill as a player. Anyone may join. We will take a maximum of 32 players.

Prior to the tournament I will be making a "lobby" for which to check if you're alive/online. After joining the "lobby" tournament, your spot for the live stream will be guaranteed.

hi, at what time the matches will be?

They will start at 12:00 PM MDT (GMT-6), which is 2:00 PM EDT (GMT-4), which is 7:00 PM BST (GMT+1).

If you live in another timezone, just say so if you need the time converted.


By the way, kcscrag had something come up, so he won't be able to be there. That means that either I'll be doing it myself, or if any viewers/players have Skype and a microphone want to join in for a few minutes, I think it'd be good in order to get a variety of perspectives and everything.

The last one was fun. I think I'll play this time. If we need more players at the time of the tournament, I can do an in-game pop-up to the players who are online at that time, so don't worry about filling it.

How long did the last tournament last?

Maybe about two hours?

It's a single-elimination tournament though, so really only two people will be expected to stay around to the end. Half of the participants will be out after the first game :)

Yeah, the last tournament lasted between an hour and a half to two hours or so.

This tournament will likely be larger. Instead of 8, it'll likely be 16 or 32 participants. That means the extra round or two will extend the tournament to maybe 3 hours total or so.



At the moment, the livestream will begin 1 hour after the first games begin, so 1:00 PM GMT-6 (12:00 PM PDT, 3:00 PM EDT, 8:00 PM BST, etc.). It will continue at least until 20-30 minutes after the final game ends (since we're going to stream that game also, obviously).

@Fizzer, that in-game pop-up for online players sounds really cool. That would indeed be an effective way to fill all the spots (and at the moment it looks like we'll need it).
