I was hoping someone could help me get through this level. It seems like I can't beat Spain quickly enough before Parthia brings the boom with huge freaking stacks.

Ok, after hundreds of tries I finally passed this level. I did it in 29 turns. In the end the strategy is simply the usual "fast expansion" but you must be very very fast at the beginning.

That's the key tips:

1) Kill the AI1 very fast (take all his bonuses by turn 5) closing him from France, Spain, North Africa. If you don't manage this, start again. That was my first deployment: 3 Cambodunum, 9 Curia, 3 Transpadana, 1 Tirris, 3 Lilybaeum, 17 Caralis. If you don't take Baleares at first turn restart untill AI1 halves his stack from Baleares to Cesarea (he randomly halves or attacks whith 3). To move 1 army from Tirris is usefull to be sure that my attack to Baleares is after AI1.

2) Take Spain, France, England, Germany by turn 10.

3) When you meet AI2 you should have more reinforcements than him but since he has big stacks previously accomulated you just have to keep the line strengthening little by little. Don't attack AI 2 since you're not strong enough!!! Let him waste his stacks against your line. It took me 6 turns from this point to overtake his total amount of armies.

4)When your line is strong enough move from Cyrene to Gortyn in order to break his big bonuses in Magna Asia and Partha.

My line was along Balkans, in Tarantum, Cyrene and Hydrax.
