So there's a few currently ongoing matches I'm "in" where I got eliminated or surrendered pretty early on. Despite that, I still get notifications in my dashboard about unread chat messages, even though I REALLY don't care what they're talking about but I hate seeing it in my dashboard.

I know I can filter "Active games where I'm not eliminated", except I don't always want to filter out games where I am eliminated. It's just a few specific games that I would prefer never seeing on my dashboard because I am not a part of them anymore. Plus I honestly don't mind and like some of the times when a chat message is said in a game where I'm eliminated. It's just a few specific ones I hate seeing the notification for.

Is it possible for me to "block" out the game at all, so I can keep default filters on but not have to see more stuff of a game I don't care about?

This should have the filters that you're looking for. The ui is slightly broken so you may want to untick the option called "Fixed Window with Scrollable Games"
