I have my filter to show games where it's my turn or there are new chat messages.

When there's a new chat message and I want to read it, I have to open the game, wait for the map to load, and then check the chat. That doesn't bug me at home, but if I'm on a slow wifi connection or using the iTouch app, it can take quite a while to open up some of the bigger maps, just so I can see what's in the chat window.

If I could go directly to the chat window rather than having to open the map first, it would be nice.

You can actually hit "menu" and public or team chat while the map is loading. At least on Android. I wouldn't know what an i-anything-POS can do.
