Im going to make a map based off the weimar republic, which is now part of germany if a very small amount of you arent history buffs. I know i made another thread by accident in the wrong category. Anyways so far my plans are to use the election results as superbonuses.
Any advice or ideas that are helpful I may use, since this is my first map I may be a little slow in the process.

don't forget to give higher bonuses to the territories won by the nazis, because a 30% of parliamentary seats gave them a lot more fo power

I'm sorry ... how do the Nazi won territories gain extra power as bonuses? They yielded the same amount of seats per territory as any other place in Weimar Germany ... that the Nazi's were invited to form a government was not because they had a clear majority in the Reichstag. They never achieved this. At no point in Weimar history did the Nazi's gain a majority of seats or votes. Rather it was the instability of the Weimar regime (in part due to the punitive conditions imposed on the Republic by the Allies at Versailles) that allowed the leader National Socialist Democratic Party to become first Chancellor and later President of Germany.

There 30 (odd) percent of the vote gave them power as a large faction within an unstable government ... it in no way means suggests those seats were more important than those owned by the Christian Democrats or the Communists or any other political party active in Weimar politics.

Don't create the map solely on the election resluts. Add provinces, capitals, possibly some places who gained a majority of a major party, etc. What you can do is depending on how many seats each party has, the bigger the bonus you get if you have a territory controlled by them.
