Lately, there has been quite a few people asking about how to use the division tool on inkscape to create maps. So, I made a small tutorial to help with making territories and bonuses. It will be part of a much larger mapmaking guide, which is a work in progress ATM. Ill get back to you on that. But here is my my tutorial for the division tool:

Should include a portion about making inset territories, islands if you will. That has been what I have seen most such comments be about.

So like territories inside other territories?

Will do, but its just duplicating the smaller territory and then using the division tool...

Yes, that. I am aware it is simply duplication but may don't know of that trick. It's a simple technique but so too is the division tool
