It was delayed by one uber long cluster of a game wherein 2 players got autobooted and one went on vakay and was having someone else do his turns.. It's over now, we should see some movement soon.

Hi, yes, Manager League is still going. Now the fourth game of round 1 has finished, I'm meant to be working out the finances - player's cash/bonuses, and team's cash. It'll be done soon, then we do bidding for players again and then round 2.

my manager has not played me yet is it possible to demand a payment for joining a team then get game pay.

Glad to hear that the whole thing hasn't been abandoned. Sure, it's summer now and everyone seems (pretends) to have better things to do but still: this is a great concept! =)

given the success of the realtime tournaments made by huruey and dunga we will try to test the league to be played in real time as well for the next season.

Please don't do real time - you limit the player base to those available in that timezone - that makes your tournament limited and it's a harsh word but discriminatory. Multi day is far better. Some tweaks such as not respecting vacations - and I would suggest if a player is booted that should count as a red card and the player should be suspended for the next match - with increasing suspensions as more offences (boots) are acquired. On that note perhaps a 'fair play league' where the team with the worst boot rate suffers a lowered prize money allocation. A booted player could also forfeit part or all of his/her earned prize money / salary.

But please don't make it real time.

We can set up games in different time zones and leave it for the manager to decide who to field. The problem with multiday is what you have already noticed, the time frame between the seasons is much to big. Sanctioning players that get booted is of no use, since they already accepted to leave or dont care for the league. The game mode is not yet carved in stone, but i`d like to have a seasonal tryout for a realtime league. If we do multiday, we will have a boot timer of maximum a day. That was something i wanted to see right from the start, but the reception among the players and the co managing stuff was rather limited. The game mode is not yet carved into stone, this is just my preference for the time being.

I think you should just kick out J Russell Mikkelsen. That will solve all problems.

I still prefer multi-day. A 2 day boot and you could use incentives / punishments to encourage managers to choose players they know will stay for the course. I and many others have no trouble with 2 day boots. Though 1 day would prevent me going away with my girlfriend and other real life things like that. But real time would in my opinion limit the available players. I can't see how you can keep it inclusive and have it real time. It could easily become just players playing with the same 'mates' they usually play with as you said the 'apex' tourneys already cater to that.

Man are we all in a big hurry to finish or something? It'll finish eventually, multi-day or not. If you have a real time version of this, I think you'll find that many of your top-tier players are going to drop out.
