South East Asia is a long term counterpick to most of Eurasia, it does definitely win games. People don't seem to get this essential bit of map balance and WL has no way to search through old games easily so I am going to make a collection of any that I come across. Please add any of your own, once I have a few I will write more.

If central russia/west russia are open and both are relatively safe (possible wasteland in scand):

- a bad player will ignore them altogether
- a mediocre player will pick them as 1/2
- a better player will try to counter 3/4 with 5 in east russia/caucasus
- best player will counter 5 in SEA

Of course it is a generalisation with many exceptions, but it's true, it does win many games.

That first link did not involve SEA.

2nd game was very interesting. Pulsey anticipated Georgia route as he should and cut it off. He also anticipated a re-route through Cauc. But, you took Aus instead and went Hawaii, which was very nice. Great game to watch.
