I would be interested in doing a North Carolina map. Counties would be territories, and I'll figure out something else for bonuses. I'm currently working on another map that has taken me quite a long time, so maybe I'll take a break from it to do this one. Give me bit, and I'll see what I can do.

that was quick you should make the county bonuses bigger or different colour

Did you built this map in one day. Don't you have anything to do?

Done already?? It must take a small amount of time to colour and put bonuses and name them - I saw the map 1 hour ago with all unnamed territories, everything grey :P

Galaxy - That is the easy part. The map development prior to importing to Warlight is the time-consuming part in my opinion.

As for the map, I don't like how the smaller bonuses aren't differentiated at all. No way of telling which territories belong to which bonuses so you will have to constantly be checking the bonuslink to know where to expand.

Richard, your suggestion would be to keep the same colours but put space between the smaller bonuses? Here's the update (along with some changes suggested by OP):

As for how fast it was, no, I have absolutely nothing better to do. True story. Bored out of my mind. Ive been working on a large map of Turkey for almost a week now, and its starting to feel like I'm not getting anywhere, so I GLADLY welcome the distraction.

And if anyone else would like to help me run a few test games before I make it public, that would be awesome.
