Yeah I figured. You shouldn't conflate them though. While every national socialist is a nationalist, not every nationalist is a national socialist. German Nationalism is 100-120 years older than national socialism, and just one element of the NS ideology.

Well for all intends and purposes, 'patriotism' is just a euphemism for nationalism. It's very easy to point out nationalists/'patriots' that aren't nazis, but pretty much impossible to find that one earnest patriot who doesn't subscribe to nationalist ideas, because the words are essentially synonymous.

If that image is as abhorrent as the one portrayed in your clan, I (and most people) would certainly care. The image can be interpreted as what you stand for. It is an idea of what the clan is about. In this case, the idea is National Socialism! Come on! Seriously?

This is not fair to Jews, and other peoples the Nazis persecuted. It is not fair to Germans either, who probably get the shivers every time Nazi is uttered (I would too if I were German). It is offensive, deliberately provocative and overtly racist.
