On the notable victories or whatever it's called on each player's page, currently no play has a best ever rank (only a current rank). I assume this is because nobody has been ranked twice (been unranked then ranked again). It would make more sense to change this so that it says your best rank no matter what, otherwise one column of the box will remain redundant indefinitely.

Also, the "Playing in up to 1 game at a time." is pretty useless.

The "Best Rank" and "Best Rating" fields are not yet enabled for the real-time ladder. It would be silly to enable these on a new ladder, since the first person who gets a rank would automatically get a "Best Rank" of #1 even though they didn't earn it.

Once the ladder stabilizes they'll be enabled. Maybe a month or so.

Yes ok makes sense. Don't want X to get that badge of honour ;)

i played 20 games in about 10 straight hours

dont recall any stabilisation period for the 1v1 or 2v2 ladders and their definitely isn't one for the seasonal ladder. this is entirely without precedent and i demand you reconsider
