I have found out I like Commerce games. But don't see to many being played here.

Are they not that popular? And any way to change that/promote them more?

Imo it's a sleeper feature that a lot of the community hasn't discovered the value of yet. It was launched along with Warzone which brought a ton of other new features so it kind of got buried by them.

Best way to raise awareness is to make a good template and start making open games with it.

I personally don't play commerce games, because they're unsupported in flash version and as long as flash version is there, I'm not going to switch to other versions.

commerce games got really popular in the early days of warzone (you could find plenty of diplos and team games rt and md) and then, they kinda disappeared. either people didn't like that feature or the same few people hosted those games and now they have stopped playing.

Yet we lack good templates with commerce. So far the seasonal with that mod was bad, as it basically way a standard game with a decrease of income difference, which made games last much longer.

I heard that seasonal was the best one
