Just recently I've been bombarded with ads (like in the last few hours). I thought ads weren't an issue for members? I play very infrequently, come back here and there over the course of three years. Is this something new or a bug? I even use Adblock so I'm a little confused.

You need to go to the settings and unpick the option to have adds, it's no automatic.

Did something change with the update? I've never had a problem with it before.

Still having the same problem even after toggling the ads off.

Try reopening your browser?

Given that you use adblock and are still seeing these ads it seems to me like the issue is unrelated to the site but instead an issue with your computer or browser

Restarted the browser window and it worked, just really jarring to see the ads pop up all of a sudden. Thanks for the advice about toggling the the ads on and off, learn something new everyday I geuss.

Unchecking the boxes on the settings tab will completely disable all of WarLight's ads. If you're still seeing ads after doing this, it's possible you're infected with malware that's injecting ads into your browser. You should clean your PC or take it to a professional to clean it.
